Large scale bricks make small scale stone blocks
Easy to use as an overlay sheet for a stone block wall in 1/150 scale. The slight texture is convincing for that scale.

A clever bit of kit
The package contains 4 identical road sections which together make a 2 lane crossroads 243mm x 243mm. Clips are provided to hold the 4 sections together. The underside of the road has a complex array of magnetic wires which allows a Tomytec moving bus to drive through any route on the crossroads. The route selection is by two small slide switches at the inside curve of each of the four sections. One switch selects right turn or straight ahead. The second switch selects left turn or straight ahead. Route selection is only suitable for left hand running as in Japan, UK, Australia, New Zealand, India, Ireland, Hong Kong, Singapore and many other places. The instructions are in Japanese only but with detailed diagrams which indicate how to join the road sections together, how to operate the route selection switches, and how to integrate the crossroads into a wide range of junction patterns, some requiring extra parts. There was an assembly error on all 4 of the road sections. At the point where where three of the magnetic guide wires cross one of the wires was continuous. There should be a 5mm gap where the wires cross. I used a small wire cutter to cut the continuous wire in two and create the 5mm gap. I have used the crossroads extensively since installing it in a model bus layout and it works almost faultlessly. If a bus fails to follow the selected route, the cause is almost certainly with the positioning of the steering magnet on the bus rather than the road. My favourite manoeuvre is making a right turn which looks convincingly realistic. A video is on Youtube of it installed and working in my library "woodbury22uk" under the title Tomytec Walthers Moving Bus System Chassis on test.
