OK for the price
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich The precision is somewhat artificial, as it depends on many factors and the device is not the most rigid and sturdy. But it works fine if you only need 0.1mm resolution. It does seem to go through batteries very fast, however, and, at these battery prices, it may be cost more than it seems at first.

Very cheap and worth it
0 von 1 finden das hilfreich I bought two. One was missing the big ceramic cap (10uF, I think), which is probably the most expensive part. The M590 modules both look used and having been removed from something else.
I populated one and soldered it in a proper reflow oven with a 63/37 solder paste with a short 6 minute cycle and a few seconds at max temp of 210C. That melted the SIM card holder, so that it may still be usable, but hard to lock because it is bent.
Still, it did not boot up when I powered it, I have not had the time to find out why.
I have not tried the second one yet, I will have to solder it by hand. I did not expect much, and I am still not impressed.
