THE LAST RIDE New Sealed DVD Hank Williams

Good movie. Not so sure about content being factual.

Pretty good movie. The lead actor did not exactly resemble Hank Williams, Sr. or speak like him. But that would be a hard thing for anyone to accomplish. I respect the effort. It is an overall good attempt to capture the events that occurred during Hank Sr.'s last earthly journey. How factual it all is, I don't think we'll ever really know. Very entertaining.

Good movie. Historically accurate.

I admire that people are still interested in Hank Williams and that his legacy lives on. This is a good movie regarding him, however I wish that the scenes shown at the Grand Ole Opry would have actually been filmed in the Ryman like Coal Miner's Daughter and Sweet Dreams were. The performances that were supposed to be at the Ryman didn't ring as true as they could have. I live in Nashville and the Ryman is magical. Filming there would have greatly contributed to authenticity and would have made the viewing experience more exciting as the Ryman can take you back in time effortlessly. You just lose something when you substitute genuine locations for recreations. Outside of that it was a good movie, and factual from best I could determine.
