Never had a problem with HP ink cartridges.
Have not used it yet. Currently my printer is low on black ink and will install newly purchased cartridge when i receive a notice to replace new cartridge.
I strongly believe that manufacture products works best.

NOT a recommendation, poor design.
Make it deeper and redesign the lid cover
