Best bang for the buck and a must have for home projects!

Bought this drill to replace a pair of older makita 9 vlt drills that didn't have much battery run time. This Dewalt 18 volt is great- power to drive screws and setting to accomodate everything I've used it for - perfect for home projects and heavier jobs too. Nice to have the backup battery, quick charge a plus, 2 speeds and 17 clutch settings My only question is why did I wait so long to step up! 5 stars

Good sight but….

Works as expected. It was put on a Burris spotting scope to make subject acquisition quick. Easy adjustment and dot illumination is adjustable. Only drawback is the battery installation is a pain. The cover is difficult to start on threads with the battery in place. You have to be very careful not to start the threads incorrectly and force the cover. It would be nice if there were witness marks on the cover

Good price after looking at the local stores decided to purchase. Needed to replace an old porter cable trim router that was well over 35 years old.

Good price after looking at the local stores decided to purchase. Needed to replace an old porter cable trim router that was well over 35 years old. Nice to not have a cord to work around. This router is powerful enough to do the trim work I need. Recommend getting the max 5ah battery it seems to last a long time and charges quickly
