Seagull Entourage Mini Jumbo Rustic Acoustic Guitar W/ Hard Case

Best bang for the buck!
I had no idea what these were. Never heard of the brand, never saw one at a local store. Well, until a few years ago. And I didn't actually see it, it was just one of many on a huge wall of acoustics. It was only after I was horribly disappointed by every single sub-$800 guitar I tried...that the employee said to play this one. Like many people often do, I was only trying models from manufacturers I knew well, and ignoring all the cheapy Chinese models and no-name guitars. The guy was smiling in that way someone does when they already know what your reaction is going to be before you even try it. And he was right. Nothing, and I mean nothing that they had in this price range sounded anything like the 4 different Seagull models I tried, and they had a massive amount of acoustics to choose from. He said something along the lines of "These are like buying an American-made guitar, but at Chinese prices". And after all, these ARE American made guitars....well, North-American. Apparently they are made in the same Canadian factory which produces the Godin brand too. And furthermore, these solid-top guitars are roughly the same price point as many laminate top guitars, so they will only sound better with age. "Best bang for the buck", is something he also said. Now, to be fair, I got to hear even better guitars at that store, but they were nowhere near the price of the Seagull models. Not even close. For for most people like me, paying over 2 grand for a guitar is excessive. I didn't end up buying the Seagull, and splurged a bit on something else. But if I had stuck to my original budget, there would not have been any debate, it definitely would have been one of the Seagull models I tried. Which one though....that would have been a debate.

"It helps me"
The Panasonic RR-US591 "i recommend it to any adult student whether you are taken your 2nd masters or PhD" ...lol! A pity so little real information took place in that "review". So what have we learned, ladies and germs? Well, one thing I'll take with me from that review is that this is an excellent device for adult student. Which student that is, I dont exactly know. I must assume the Panasonic will appeal to more then a single student. Perhaps many of them. I also learned that I can: transfer recorded note and, revisit the class on your own time. Thank God! All this time I was wrongly assuming I'd have to revisit my recorded note on someone else's time. What a load off my mind that was. But another worrisome fact is: whether you are taken your 2nd masters or PhD What? I am neither attempting my second masters nor working on my PhD! Oh no! Am I forbidden from purchasing this? Do you need to show proof of your degree at the time of purchase? This is dreadful news. So many unanswered questions. Now to get real for a moment, the RR-US591 is every bit as efficient as two Olympus models I had recently, who's model numbers I cant recall. But unlike many other models, the Panasonic takes TWO AAA batteries, which I am certain make it last longer then a single battery model. And you also dont need to reset the clock as long as you replace the batteries within a minute of taking the old ones out. With other models you have to reset the time. Not a huge selling point, but worth mentioning. Sound quality is decent. But how fantastic does it need to be? It's a voice recorder! So to recap, if you are student, working on your 2nd Masters or PhD, or want to revisit the class on your own time, it is a good choice. I would also like to extend a gracious Thank-You to Borat for the previous review. Though he didnt mention the performance of the Panasonic during "sexy time". "It helps me!"
O'Malley 101 5 in. Dia. Hair Snare Drain Cover Plastic White 6 pk

It's fairly decent
Pretty good. But the one from that other company, can't remember the name but it begins with "L", is superior. Mostly, because that one doesn't have a cup which tapers towards the top. It goes straight up on the sides. What that achieves is a better fit onto the pop-up drain part and doesn't ever move. Plus, the holes on that model are smaller, so nothing gets through, and I mean nothing. As one reviewer said, it almost works too well, and all the gunk, hair, and whatever else is in your water builds up so much that the water leaves the tub too slowly, and the water level begins to rise. But, small price to pay for keeping every little particle out of your drain. Never once in like 25 years did we call a plumber or have to use any drain products. But, after that amount of time, that one fell apart, and this one looked like the exact same thing, so I bought it. Not exactly the same. While it does work, it's not as good as the other one. But it will keep most of the hair from going down the drain. A little does get through though. Anyone reading this might also consider the wire mesh type, which there are a lot of here on Ebay. Those are supposedly good, but being metal, it might not have a tight enough seal against the bottom of the tub, and hair might flow right under it? Dunno. Oh, and to be clear, we have only used this in a bath tub with a pop-up drain. This will probably work in sinks and showers too, but we've not tried them anywhere else.
