Great Security System

The GE Simon 2 is easy to install and easy to use. You can optionally mount it to a wall or place it on a desktop/counter. The system has a programing section to easily program your sensors, set the system time, program/change access codes, Light Control and change certain options to change system settings/features. I really like how loud the siren is. It is about 120db and it is very very loud to scare a burglar out the door. If the power goes out the back up battery will kick in and you can either use the rechargeable battery pack or connect a 9V battery to it for backup power. Also, there is remote telephone access so If you forgot to set the alarm or would like to turn lights on/off or listen to your home with the built-in 2-way voice microphone you can listen in to your home and also talk back to people inside the home. If you want to control lighting/garage door operation you can use X-10 devices to program in to the system for added convince. There are also a range of sensors you can buy such as Door/window sensors, Motion Detectors, Glass break detectors/sound sensors, Shock Sensors to detect vibrations on a window. There are life safety devices that you can add/program to your system such as a water sensors, freeze sensors, smoke and co detectors and panic devices such as a keychain remote or a water resistant pendant. All in all its a very advanced security system and it is dedicated to protect anyone from Burglary/theft or environmental dangers such as flooding or fires.

GREAT TOUCHPAD FOR MY SIMON 2!!!!

This touchpad works GREAT! It looks like it's good condition as if it was to be brand new! The touchpad door feels very nice and also has a backplate that allows you to mount it to the wall. Overall the touchpad functions very very well!!!!
