So sad. So deep. So brilliant.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I was looking for something new to read and saw this book on a 'Top 100 Must Read' type online site. So thought I'd give it a go.
It took a short while to get into the characters and remember who was who (as there were quite a few to begin with). But once in... I was gripped.
Such a beautiful, thought provoking book. So sad and distressing at times, but done in such an empathetic way, it didn't upset me too much.
The characters are so individually great that you genuinely can't wait to read another page.
I have already recommended this book to a friend and bought it for another.
This book is so different to your usual 'easy read' type of book and extremely addictive once started. I honestly couldn't stop reading it. Some days, for hours!
The content of the book could be too much for some people, but the way the writer portrayed such sadness and badness, made it that much more interesting.
Certainly a 5/5 book.
Buy. I know you won't regret it.
