A story that needs to be told!
Growing up in a dysfunctional family with a bitter, atheistic mother, the author hardly had a chance! His upbringing was chaotic and confusing, and it is hard to understand why he did not abandon the family when he reached mid teens and older. His mother was cruel and selfish, dragging family members to different locations as she tried to become first Russian then Cuban in her desperate attempt to join a socialistic country and continue her attempt to "remove God" from the American belief system. After many court cases, she did succeed in removing prayer and Bible reading from public schools. The author looked for solutions in drug dealing, many relationships etc. Desperately he begins to question the God his mother had denied and God in His love and grace answered and brought him to Himself. This book shows that we are never so far from God that He cannot reach us when we turn to Him with honest questions.

easy to listen to
Most cds have 2-3 songs I enjoy, the rest get skipped over. Matt Redman's song are all worthy listening to. The words have a message and truth we cannot ignore.

clear message
The title song alone makes it worthwhile. We all have had disappointments and sadness in our life, but Steven Curtis Chapman reminds us that even though 'life has not turned out the way we thought it would', there is a day coming where all will be made clear. Our story is no where near over, but one day it will be and the unfolding will be glorious. There are other songs on this cd that show the sadness he has gone through to get to this place of unquestioning faith in a God who knows all.
