Necronomicon Review
This is the third in a series of compiled essays on horror and erotic cinema.
It explores the history and inspiration of the most influencial films in the genre. Andy Black has done an excellent job of bringing together articles and essays that shed some light on the darker corners of society's collective psyche. He has chosen filmakers who show us the many and often disturbing facets that make up our collective consciousness. I would reccomend this book as well as the two previous volumes to anyone interested in an intelligent discourse on the self image of our modern society as seen through the mirror of our art, albeit darkly.
