British cooking
We bought this as my son is doing a project on British cooking for his GCSE. As Gary Rhodes was famous for that the book was a no-brainier and certainly has not disappointed. It is filled with mouthwatering recipes and great illustrations together with some history of a lot of the dishes.

Beehive protection
We bought this to paint onto our wooden brood boxes and supers before they go out this year. They certainly look good and we are hopeful that the treatment will substantially extend their life - it certainly should.

VAX V-2400C filters
I don't know whether these are manufactured by VAX but we were having trouble with the old filter - the original one that came with the machine - and so I thought that I would give them a go. They fit perfectly and have put new life back into the cleaner. My wife, who does most of the vacing, was always blaming me for getting the wrong cleaner but now that it has been fixed the complaints have stopped. Good value for money or what!! The truth is that the original filter was wrecked by a decorator who used it to clear up after his sanding filler and it was never the same after that.
I still have two spares from the set but would buy again.
