A lot of fun to build.
The kit fits togethEr nicely. The panel lines are recessed, and the exterior detail is pretty good. There is no angle of attack probe, and the cockpit is not quite accurate as the rear is identical to the front, however it is all molded. I can't understend why trumpeter didn't make the fuselage with the vertical stabilizer attached, but it went on just fine. For some reason the nose gear strut is two piece, so some good eye balling is in order to get it straight when you install it. Very little filling was required for the kit. The Decals went on very nicely, and the detail is excellent in the gear wells, and the weapons bay. a Genie, and a couple AIM 4's are provided. The flight controls are seperate pieces, so they can be attached in any configuration.
In past experience with Trumpeter, I have to say that they have really upped their game, and this is a great kit!!
