Defective.
Cosmetically, very nice. Unfortunately, ours leaks from the top, which makes it unusable.

Great ride for cats, amusing to watch, but somewhat counterproductive as a vacuum.

Seriously, I bought it for my store because it is annoying to find outlets for the canister vacuum to reach everywhere I need it (i.e., out of sheer laziness), but... the Roomba is not for Virgos. Though it is somewhat entertaining to watch, it takes a strange, meandering path and can get hung up on odd-shaped fixture legs, meaning it requires some supervision. I've only used it twice so far, and it seems generally reliable, but I answered "no" to that question because of the times it got stuck and needed assistance. (I did appreciate that all I had to do was set it down and press the button for it to continue working). The other unexpected downside (which wouldn't be a surprise to someone who has experience with bagless vacuums, but I don't) is that even though the segments are easy to open, it's almost impossible not to make an additional mess when emptying. The finer dust goes everywhere, including all over the top of the unit and in its little wheel wells, etc... and back into the air. I'm tempted to use my other vacuum to clean it up, just after a single use! So, this is not good for someone with allergies. It is great for someone whose floors are already pretty clean and it may indeed make a fabulous cat toy.
