Great for the price,
A small neat set of gel crimp pliers, good quality and good action, they close gel crimps perfectly.
I was going to use a set of standard electricians pliers to close some dexgreen gel connectors.
I thought as the job was at high level, outside and secured in a weather proof enclosure, I wouldn’t want to risk damaging the gel connectors if I was a bit heavy handed with standard electricians pliers. An unlikely scenario, but not using the correct tool could possibly have meant doing the job again in a few months or a year or two if not checked, that’s just my type of luck.
Granted it was only a one off job for myself on my own property, and they weren’t expensive, so I ordered these and they did the job nicely with piece of mind that the connectors weren’t overly compressed possibly at an angle as standard pliers dont close parallel at the closed position for gel crimps. The pliers are now in one of my my tool boxes with other rarely used tools, just in case I need to use them again.
I’ve done some repair work on battery drills and other extra low voltage dc circuits like intruder alarms and maglock access systems in the past. These pliers with gel connectors would have come in handy, so I’m sure they will be used again at some point.

Great remote, just like the original.
Very pleased to receive this genuine Panasonic remote, it’s just like the original that came with the tv. The finish is the same as is everything else. The box it came in stated Panasonic Corporation. All functions were tested and work. The buttons feel the same with the same amount of pressure required to activate, other spare remotes I’ve bought for my Sky satellite tv box have needed more pressure to operate as the silicone pad was noticeably stiffer. This Panasonic remote however is perfect just like the original.

All red and black colour code very expensive due to rarity
This is AEI cable which is a good quality cable and strips easily.
Unfortunately the old colours are becoming harder to find and as a result more expensive.
