Women, Food and God
I thought this book was well worth reading if you have ever had an issue with food. Geneen Roth does an excellent job describing the reasons that we may eat when we are not hungry. She gives anecdotes from her retreats which are very helpful. Her practical suggestions and "guide to eating" is helpful as well. I definitely benefited from reading her book and have recommended it to others.

Great DVD player
8 von 12 finden das hilfreich I'm not a technical guru, but wanted to purchase a new portable DVD player for our kids to use at home and in the car. (Ours broke after about 5 years of use.) After doing some research, I found great ratings for the Sony DVP-FX930. We have been happy with it so far. My 3 & 6-year old can operate this by themselves, which is great. The remote control is a nice feature. We like the swivel screen and one of the reasons I chose this one was that it has 2 headphone jacks. It also has 6-hours of battery life, which is nice. We have only gotten about 4 hours of battery life (because we haven't changed the quality of the screen), which is sufficient. It's really nice & it suits our needs perfectly.
