Varta Industrial Pro batteries are reliable!
I use a great deal of these batteries (both AA and AAA) to power two body born hearing aids. I need batteries which are reliable and long lasting because the hearing aids are used everyday and all day. These batteries fulfill my requirements , and usually I can purchase them at a
reasonable price from two separate Ebay Sellers which I have dealt with over the years. I expect the batteries would be equally as reliable for other purposes such as radios.and torches. Recommended

Biography of Blessed Cardinal John Henry Newman

This is the official authorized biography of Cardinal Newman commissioned by the Birmingham Oratory to commemorate his beatification in 2010.
It is a well written and very readable introduction to the life,work,and
thoughts of Cardinal Newman, and includes extracts from his writings on the various subjects discussed in the narrative of this book. It is also beautifully illustrated and contains pictures of Cardinal Newman
throughout his life, his friends and associates, and places where he had lived. Potential readers may appreciate the pictures of Oxford and the Birmingham Oratory.
This book will appeal to anyone who is interested in Cardinal Newman
(now more properly known as 'St John Henry Newman following his canonization in 2019), and in particular those who have been influenced by his life and example.
