Worth a read.
Beautiful prose highlighting a successful young woman growing up in Africa. Although we cannot know what animals - human or otherwise - are really thinking, Markham gives some plausible guesses.

Coffee maker
It makes very good coffee and requires little effort.
The thermal carafe makes it impossible to see at a glance how much coffee is left. The top on the carafe is difficult to close completely. It's rather tall, so it may not fit under some counter tops.
The preceding provisos aside, it's an excellent product.
