Loose belt
Quite a bit smaller than the original belt. Seems to work though but have only tested it on a small piece of wood so far. Would like to see the belt fit snug, not loose.

Good unit but not as pictured

(thus the 2 start rating I gave it) The gap at the end of the sharpening clamp is only about 3/16" to 1/4" quarter inch deep instead of the 1/2" to 3/4" pictured. I think it would have a hard time holding a larger knife. If I had known this I would have not purchased this unit and will probably have to end up grinding down the gap to make it deeper. Overall it seems like a quality unit but I do not appreciate getting something different than pictured.
Also, apparently there is a base you can purchase SEPARATELY for the clamp that makes sharpening much easier. Otherwise you have to hold the clamp in your hand.
