Heavy duty pads feel very safe
These are heavy, quality pads, and the brakes feel noticeably stronger now that they are installed. They even seem to stop more smoothly. Bendix (bicycle) brakes saved my hide many times when I was a kid, and I feel smug having them on my car, too.

Revived my phone
Made 3 of the 4 handsets of my cordless phone come back to life. #4 was probably not a battery related problem.

Not blindingly bright, and it makes the color of the main headlights closer to the color of the DRLs.
