Simple but effective.

I got this primarily because it works with a Polar HRM chest strap (though it's made only for Nike+). I like the idea of knowing how far I run and still be able to monitor my heart rate. I don't trust the reliability of GPS watches that don't connect to a chest strap.

"Stealth" fan that is a great value.

I know it's a bit more expensive but I think it's highly underrated. It has good focused airflow and decent static pressure. It's suitable as a straight-up case fan, on an air cooler or a radiator. I guess the idea is catching on as now Corsair has released their "Elite" fans with airflow guide vanes.

A gem of a fan if you can find it!

Apparently this fan is no longer in production as it's listed as a "legacy" product on Cougar's website. In my opinion this older fan is probably the best value for the money. You can actually use it as either a case fan or a radiator fan. It has a rare combination of good airflow (70cfm) and static pressure (2.2mm) @ the max of 1500 rpm and is relatively quiet. I installed three of these to replace the cheaper stock 120mm case fans in my Phanteks P300A case that came as part of a pre-built system. Two went in the front and the third went on a 120mm AIO radiator mounted in the rear. Definite improvement in airflow and cooling but no increase in noise. I'll probably install one in the upper 120mm spot for exhaust as soon as I can get my hands on another new one.
