Solid processor, but not cost effective for me based on my personal use.
0 von 1 finden das hilfreich I bought this processor out of curiosity, as reviews by many web sites indicate the overall performance of the Intel K series processors to be vastly superior to equivalent AMD processors. My comparison is based on my use of an AMD Phenom II Black Edition X4 985 3.7 Gig processor. With me not being an avid gamer or interested in overclocking, I am unable to see any concernable difference in performance based on my day to day use of the computer. I believe the memory management to be better with the Intel CPU and am very appreciative of the reduced wattage (heat) usage in comparison to AMD processors. Price wise for my personal use, the AMD is more cost effective. I can purchase an AMD 8 core 4.0 gig processor, for about the same price of an Intel 4 core 3.4 gig processor. This is not to say the intel CPU is a bad processor as it performs quite well, but for my own personal use I do not notice much of an increase in performance to substantiate the difference in cost for what appears to be on paper, a slower speed processor. This seems to verify the adage" a person can get 80% of the power of an intel CPU when purchasing an AMD CPU, for 60% of the cost.

Nice bag for big people
I am 6' 2" tall and weigh 245. This particular bag fits my size perfectly with room to turn over in the bag without difficulty. For its size the bag is lightweight but you will need an over sized storage bag to store it in. I slept for the most part comfortably in the high 30s and low 40 degree temp range, but suspect thermal underwear and air mattress would be needed to reach the advertised 25 degree temp range. Really nice bag for large people.

Decent replacement for the woefully inadequate AMD OEM CPU cooling fan
What prompted my purchase of this particular cooling unit was it's similarities to the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO air cooler, and the price. Despite the unit not being as refined in manufacturer quality as the 212, it none the less performs better than the AMD OEM coolers. Upon installation of the single fan I noticed a 4 degree Celsius drop in temperature compared to the OEM AMD cooler. I personally would like to see Deep Cool pass on the LED fan and include a second plain fan thus maximizing on the cooler's capabilities. I presently use two fans on my cooler set up in a push/pull configuration. This set up results in a consistent 6- 7 degree Celcius drop in temperature when compared with the stock AMD cooler.
Please note AMD has finally listened to the consumer and has began shipping a new cooler named the Wraith with some of its line. Initial reviews suggest the Wraith provides superior cooling when compared to the heat-pipe coolers of the past. Until which time the Wraith becomes available for sale as an individual unit, I highly recommend the use of the DeepCool Gammaxx 400 CPU cooler if you are looking for an inexpensive replacement for an older AMD FX 8350 or AMD A-10 5800k that performs as well as a Cooler Master Hyper 212 or the more expensive Phanteks Cooler.
