Cardinal Wood Checkers Set
The board is small, but just the right size for the chess pieces we had. The board is thick and sturdy and we are using it on display for our vintage metal chess pieces. Great size for easy access display and play. If you play checkers, tic tac toe or chess as we do, the board size is really perfect for a tray table or small table, and attractive as well. I highly recommend this set for stimulating and challenging entertainment.

Extra storage
I usually love Rubbermaid, but this set has some issues. The lids don't fit well at all, in fact some of the lids won't fit. I am able to use some of the smaller pieces in the set, but the larger ones have the lid closure issues so they can not be used. I have an older set of these that I use constantly and it is unfortunate that the new version has any issues at all. They seem to be made cheaper.
