Peavey ValveKing VK100 Tube Amp Head

Easy to upgrade...

Great little amp with the same basic architecture as the 6505 and other amps in the peavey stable.. 4x6L6s and 3 12AX7s means you can re tube this amp with sets of your choice and being that there is no bias the tube dictates the tone.. Fender tubes sound like fenders Marshall and Boogie tubes the same.. Also the output transformer is swappable with any of the upper end peavey stuff.. Take a 5150 OT and pop it right in.. Etc Great amp out of the box.. Even better if you're a geek like me for a platform to build on.. I have had several of these.. The original first versions are the best.. The newer ones are more tweaked and less raw.. Preferences
