Bought Used, but works great!
Reminds me of my old vintage Boston sharpener. Has a heavy motor and has sharpened about 10 pencils without hesitations. I recommend this product!

Piece of China Made Junk!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Within a couple of months, this knife, under normal daily usage has become rather wobbly and the spring knife Locke, that is supposed to keep the blade from slicing your hand open failed twice with little pressure?? I tightened blade star bolt, but it just keeps wobbling a bit in all directions. This knife, although, it looks sleek & reliable, is a cheap piece of thin metal for the handle body with a piece of rubber glued over it? The blade is actually pretty good, but what good is a blade without proper support?
I would recommend the Model TF-778 instead, which has a solid aluminum body with a tanto blade. I have used this for about a year without any problems other than tightening star bolt every so often? A much better buy for the same price!

Sharpener died after sharpening about 10 Pencils & vice gripped them??
After sharpening About 10 pencils, this cheaply made junk stopped working within 15 mins of usage?? Only fits one size of pencil and half the pencils got stuck in pencil sharpener? This pencil sharpener grabbed a hold of the pencil so tightly that it scraped the paint off the pencil & left grease marks all over pencil?? This sharpener is horribly designed and is such a joke that I was sitting there laughing at it??
I cannot believe Bostitch puts their name on these pencil sharpeners? Their products are not definitely NOT what they used to be... ?? :(
