Super glue and Go
I have had way too many car devices that purported to hold a cell phone but none of them actually worked. I was ready to give up on them entirely.
This one worked fine until the disc you apply to the phone or phone case separated from the case. That event took about ten minutes. My phone is pretty heavy and the case holding it has ridges.
I found a small space with no ridges on the case back that fit the round disc and I used superglue to fix the disc to the case. After that the phone is rock solid and can be easily seen attached from the vent. I love this device but would recommend you buy superglue and not even bother with the adhesive that comes with it. Yes its a cheap piece of plastic so obviously made in China but it id a great place to mount the phone while you are driving.
