Too many problems
It looks like the original and works mostly the same. But the cables on the one I got are too long and there is too much slack in the cable for it to pull back the latches. And where they attach inside the housing is different than my original. The attachment points on the original rotate inward in a direct line and work smoothly. The attachment point for the new one rotate inward at a downward angle and tend to hang up. I suppose I can shorten the cables and solve the length problem, but I shouldn't have to modify a brand new item. And there appears to be no way to solve the attachment problem where they rotate into the housing.

Vance & Hines Daytona 400......great look, great sound

All of these questions turned out to be a great big YES for me with the Vance & Hines Daytona 400. I put these on my 2017 H-D Road King Special. It took maybe 30 minutes to do the install from start to finish. They look great. The sound....I could not be happier. This is my fourth Harley. I have always used Vance & Hines. I have never been disappointed, but this time I am truly excited with the sound. A nice rumble at idle and a deep rumble at cruise. If you get on the throttle they really open up and sound off. The really great thing is that they never sound just obnoxiously loud. They sound like power......
One additional note. I called Vance & Hines to ask the difference in the Daytona 400 and the Eliminator 400. They said the only difference is the end caps. The sound is the same. maybe this will answer that question for somebody else.

Good choice for using kill switch when not wearing anything suitable to attach it to. Good quality. No plastic. Wrist strap needs to be longer.
