Has some nice qualities
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Has less midrange compared to tube screamer type overdrives. It kind of fattens up bass and treble, but it is not "scooped". So it has its use in fattening up tone without making the midrange prominent which can be nice in some applications.

Always on
This thing just makes your guitar sound better. Better clarity and definition of the notes, played singly or in chords. It works when playing clean or with overdrive. It has an internal buffer that is on even when the pedal is off. I put it at the end of my chain and it cleans everything up a bit. Xotic minis are very sturdy and well made. Also it takes a battery which can be nice at times.

Best bang for the buck
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I bought one 14 years ago for $29. I am still using it today. I just purchased another as a back up. The only issue was the fulcrum pin would work it's way out and the foot pedal would fall off. I solved that by screwing on a piece of hacksaw blade over it.
