GRACKLE & OTHER NUISANCE BIRD STOPPER SQUIRREL PROOF WILD BIRD FEEDER - USA

Finally stopped the grackles
I was able to find bird feeders that prevented squirrels from eating all the seed. But our yard had a new pest: a large flock of grackles that would devour our entire feeder in a few hours. This Chickadee Farm feeder was able to completely thwart the grackles (and the squirrels). They swarmed the feeder on the first day but weren't able to get to the sunflower seeds (which is the only kind of seed it holds). After a few days, they stayed dejected on the ground while the finches, sparrows, woodpeckers and juncos helped themselves. After two weeks, we hardly saw any grackles at all. So far I've been very happy.
The only minor complaint is that it's more of a chore to fill than most other feeders: you have to unscrew the top hook and remove the entire cage. A good amount of seed tends to spill out through the mesh as it's being filled, so it's a good idea to fill it inside a large box, to catch the fallen seed. The squirrels somehow managed to knock the feeder off its hook, sending it to the ground. There were a couple of dents in the top, but they popped out easily. Outside of that, the feeder's been outstanding.
I’m really happy with my Linbell. I had another wireless doorbell that I had to keep feeding batteries. The Linbell is like magic — no batteries yet it works flawlessly. I like the default chime sound, which is loud and clear. It’s a great product.
