Excellent book
This is an excellent book with an unvarnished, true-life look at combat and the impact it has on our young men. Also hits on the brutality of the enemy and the insanity of the US government/military bureaucracy. Hard to put down. One caution: tons of profanity, so not appropriate for kids.

BORING
This is the most boring John Grisham book I've ever read. There is very little drama. Very little suspense. Almost no mystery. No plot twists or surprises. I kept waiting for some excitement and it never came.
Save your money and do not buy.
[Warning: spoilers ahead]
After 100 pages or so, a woman is taken hostage. The next 200 pages are about raising the money for her release. Then she is released. The end.

Great book loaded with facts
If you care to learn about the facts and myths surrounding guns, gun control, and gun violence, this is the book for you.
