Happy Holidays
1 von 2 finden das hilfreich When I discovered Billy Idol had recorded a Christmas Album, I figured he must be getting old. When I decided I wanted to buy it I realised I was getting old! This is a straight collection of Christmas songs, nothing punk or tongue-in-cheek about it. Obviously this will disappoint some fans, but I like it. The boy's got a voice, you know, and it really shows here. This is a good selection of Christmas songs, well sung and well accompanied. My particular favourites are Jingle Bell Rock and Frosty the Snowman. I wouldn't say this was ideal party fare as there are a few quite slow and solemn numbers, including God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen. But it is great for getting you into the Christmas spirit.
