Hippety-hop! Don't stop!
Having grown up in the 80's with films like Breakdance ("Breakin'" in America), Beat Street, Wild Style Breakdance 2 and others, I am thoroughly happy to see a return to form with Step Up 1-3. The format (and let's see it for what it is) is a storyline to engage you with the characters, intertwined with the dancing, and the dancing is great!
Given what breakdancers were doing in the 80's, the standards have gone through the roof in many respects, and there are no flat points here, it's all highs.
Having seen all three of these on TV I started watching the fourth and found it to be mildly pornographic, so switched it off after the first few minutes.
That doesn't detract from these though, and I was happy to find a box set with Step Up 1-3 in and for a bargain price too. If you like energetic music and quality dancing, you shouldn't be disappointed with these!

Sony MDS-JE330 Mini Disc Player
4 von 8 finden das hilfreich I bought this for a local church where I help with the P.A. I was asked to get a few so they could have one to play and a couple for various recording duties. This was the first I purchased, and although I was quite happy with the price I paid (£10), I have to say it is nothing more than a basic model. If you are getting into mini disc and just want a player, this will probably be fine for you. If however like me, you happen to be a veteran of the format and used to heavily depending on them, this could frustrate you. Although it does have the usual functions present, I found them more awkward to use than I would like, and the display was limited. If I had checked it out first I would have spent a bit more and gone for a 500 series player instead I think.

Blast from the past!
Really enjoyed listening to these tunes. 20 years ago I was in the middle of my DJ career and listening to the radio at work every day, so am familiar with the tunes of the era. A worthwhile purchase!
