Good for the price
Overall, the tongs seem to be good. I haven't used them yet, so we will see how well they hold up while under the extreme heat of my kiln. One thing I did notice was the piece used to hinge the two pieces together seems to be splitting. I may go ahead and replace it, just to make sure that it will hold up to repeated use. Overall, I'm pleased with the aesthetics of the tongs.

This press is exactly as described. Since I bought it, it has operated flawlessly over many slices of bacon!
