Give it a try!
Been using Dunlop string conditioner for some time now. I absolutely love it. After each session, I coat the strings after a wipe-down of the strings. If your sweaty sweaty hands, put some on the strings before wipe down then reapply after. The strings last noticeably longer between changes. It also gives the strings a silky feel while playing. Great product.
I recommend protecting the fingerboard to keep the conditioner off the wood.

Great little travel guitar.
Was looking for a fun travel acoustic. Love this Johnson JG-TR15! It’s even more fun after sanding down the saddle and nut slots. The 1 11/16” nut width is just like my Strats. Obviously not the same tone or volume as a full size acoustic, but all that I desire for travel. Plays so well that my wife is picking it up frequently now. Will be installing Tusq bridge pins to replace the original plastic pins. Can’t wait!
Only downside is the case. Wish it was more padded, but it’s OK for now. Thanks Johnson!

Gotoh locking tuners are great!
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich Absolutely great locking tuners. Very high quality and easy to install. Just familiarize yourslf with the spec drawing measurements usually posted in the Ebay pictures. I replaced the standard Grovers on an Epiphone Les Paul. Perfect drop in replacement. Screw holes lined up, so no need to drill new holes. String changes are a snap and tuning is rock solid. Have Gotoh’s on several guitars now. Love them! These new nylon buttons really add a “vintage touch”. Only drawback is that the buttons are more white than vintage color. No big deal though.
Overall Gotoh is a great investment that gives you more fun when playing and less retuning.
