Shiny like plastic, but are true walnut. Though shiny, still very grippy. Finish is nice. Any light scratch buffs out with a jeweler's cloth with ease. Considering ordering another set. Price was a little hight compared to Amazon, but they offer custom cuts here. Worth the upcharge.
