Can be used as devotional
This book tells what God is. It was a great encouragement to me to read it after my husband's passing to help me stay focused on God's love for me. It was a book my husband had enjoyed also. The chapters are short and the study guide is helpful to reinforce what you read in the chapter.

Encourages humor in the face of difficult experiences
The content of this book can be helpful to someone going through a time of grief and loss of a loved one. This book confirms " A merry heart does good, like a medicine". I saw this book in the bathroom of a friend's house when I visited last month. The title interested me, so I picked it up and started reading it, because my husband died one year ago and I still am discouraged and sad each month around the time that he passed. The book has helped my on my journey.
