Didn’t work for us

This will work with other cars didn’t work on our Honda Civic.

Buy OEM not aftermarket

It’s been a year since I installed this canister. It did not solve my 0440, 0441, and 0446 codes. In the last month while filling gas in my van it would shut off every gallon I put in or sooner. I’ve then changed the vacuum switch valves. Old ones still working. Did a smoke test no leaks. Watched YouTube videos giving me advice. I changed the vent valve on top of the gas tank and changed the filler next thought maybe that. Finally took to gas station where I get gas and the mechanic disconnected the gas line leaving the charcoal canister. Filled the gas tank with no problem. Then reconnected the hose and had the same problem with filling it. I then went back and reinstalled my OEM charcoal canister and so far so good. So my advice is if you need a charcoal canister and have the money spend the extra for the OEM one not this doorman one. Or if your having problems filling your tank. Disconnect your fuel line leaving the charcoal canister and see if that works first before replacing.
