Self inflating?

I was very disappointed and embarrassed. We FOLLOWED the instructions and waited hours to get the air into it. Finally my brother in law went and got his air pump from his camping/hunting gear and put air in so that I could have more cushion for the cot. The construction material is great. It sure made a week of camping a lot more enjoyable. I did have any problems with my back. I had a great time of camping and made lots of good memories. We also had problems deflating it when we broke camp.
