Rechargeable batteries
They work

Looks good but worked for only 3 days
The torch was actually too big for my purposes so I reduced it to the 2 battery configuration. It was also heavier than I expected.
On a recent dive trip I used it for 2 days and it was great. I charged the batteries and the next day it worked fine. However after a further charge it refused to work. A colleague considered that the torch head had shorted out. I tried some smaller batteries with the supplied inserts but it still wouldn't work.
