Mulan: great entertainment for all ages.
The 'real' lady was Hua Mulan, a legendary female warrior from Chinese history, originally described in the Ballad of Mulan where she takes her aged father's place in the army.
Now, Disney's Mulan tells this tale as a fantasy loosely based on the Ballad, but with aplomb, humour, engaging characters, drama and some great songs.
The version I bought has the songs and subtitles so you can sing along. Great for a rainy day, and you will find the kids wanting you to play it over and over :)

The way forward.
This replacement is less than half the price of the original online, and I fitted it myself with the aid of a great YouTube video. Saved a lot of money. To repair and not replace, is the way forward.
