Completion of my B & L microscope.
Many years ago I bought a B & L binocular microscope with four objectives. During my working years, I was a hematology supervisor in a pathology lab. The B & L I purchased at flea market was a match to the one I used in my department. I have since refurbished my flea market acquisition. I have numerous slides I saved during my working years. Malaria, sickle cell anemia, leukemia's, leukocyte abnormalities, parasitic infections, entomology slides, etc.
My oldest granddaughter has her sights on sports medicine. The above purchase now gives me the availability to further interest my 14 yr. old granddaughter the joys of oil immersion AND the science of microscopy.
P.S. I also get the opportunity to revisit all the aforementioned slides. The binocular microscope on the right is what I used years ago. The oblong light source is exactly what I used. Since I could not remember the make of the aforementioned light source, the light & transformer completed my microscopy collage.

B&D Oscillating tool
Needed this attachment so I could use it in small (close) spaces. I have little fine motor skills and the attachment(s) above do not add a lot of weight to the B&D MatrixX base. Have used the oscillating tool twice and am about to use the sander. Loved the oscillating attachment.

Extremely versatile sanding tool
I suffer from a progressive muscle myopathy for which there is no treatment or cure. I have little left of my fine motor skills (fingers two thru five). The 3M Sandblaster' design and options has provided me the opportunity to sand my craft projects to perfection.
Though I cannot make a complete fist, the handle can be turned in multiple directions and is easy for me to grasp and control direction.
Replacing the worn or tattered sandpaper will be a snap for anyone without my myopathy. I cannot open the Sandblaster's ends with my fingers. However with a little help from a flat-head screwdriver I am able (using the handle as a fulcrum) to open each end. 3M offers a plethora to Sandblaster Pro sandpaper grits from coarse to extremely fine (320).
I currently have four (4) 3M Sandblasters. Each one is is marked (Sharpie) with it's corresponding grit. Currently my grits are : 60 (coarse), 120, 150 and 320. For me, and perhaps those with RA, the 3M Sandblaster Pro has been a blessing for my larger jobs.
