Naze32
I bought free FCs. All of them communicate with Betaflight. I flashed new firmware to all of them successfully. All of them performed basic tests.

Good education tool
If you belong to a group of hobbyist, enthusiast or educators, who don't want to get everything ready to fly, this is a really good choice. It's a product, somewhere on the halfway, between assembling the drone from components from the scratch and fully functional product.
To be specific you will need to: 1) buy transmitter and receiver; 2) solder receiver (means an ability to solder at PCBs), 3) source FPV receiver, if you want to see the video. 4) basically learn one of the flight management software.
So, if you fall into one this group, it's really good choice for you.
