A collection of a very popular comic strip
Perfect content as a gift for my 9-year-old granddaughter's B-Day. (She already loves Pat McDonell's "Mutts," so this one by Brian Basset is a logical extension for her reading enjoyment.) What also makes this volume attractive is that the daily and Sunday panels cover a full year, from New Year's to Christmas. Only negative - the Sunday strips are b&w, not color. Otherwise a great book!

The entire CBS broadcast day for 21 Sep 1939, from sign-on to sign-off, says it all.
The overriding pro is the network's foresight to preserve an entire, historic day on radio just three weeks after Hitler had invaded Poland. The 15-minute soap operas early on were fun and quaint, as were the commercials. A highlight was the afternoon baseball game between the Senators and the Indians (both names now changed). Another highlight was the speech on U.S. neutrality by FDR.
One big con: The manufacturer failed (or didn't see fit) to include a booklet listing programs, times and/or other pertinent facts in this factory-sealed box set.
Highly recommended for its historic and entertainment value, allowing new listeners to hear exactly what their parents and grandparents had listened to before the advent of television!

CD itself was perfect (but jewel case was in shabby shape and had to be replaced.)
Shame on WB for not keeping this sterling 1968 PP&M CD available. It contains several great songs, including "Too Much of Nothing," Tim Hardin's "Reason to Believe" and Paul Stookey's "Love City ("Postcards from Duluth)." Pleased I finally have it.
