christmas sitcoms
A good collection of "flashback" tv sitcoms from the 1960's that revolve around the christmas theme.

walking on water
I was very impressed with this movie, better than expected.
Very professionally shot and made. Movie follows Bryan Jennings, a professional surfer, who mentors two aspiring teens who also want to make surfing their life.
The three travel around the world where you experience different countries,cultures, as they go looking for ultimate surfing. Photography is stunning, both of the different countries and the actual surfing.
The movie also focuses on the surfers focus, while it is ok to aspire to be the next world champion in surfing, it is pointless without a higher meaning in life. And that is faith and a personal relationship with God, the creator of the waves they surf. That is what's really important and what is brought up in the movie as well.
Very entertaining and good for a family film to watch.

Donny & Marie's Christmas
This Christmas special aired in 1978. If you liked the Donny + Marie weekly tv special this will be right up your alley. Special includes entire Osmond clan who gather to celebrate Christmas. Singing includes solos, duets, and Osmond "group" singing. Mostly christmas songs were sung, but other music was also included in show. While it was corny at times, as I mentioned, if you liked their weekly variety show you would enjoy this. It was entertaining.
