Bought for a replacement hard disk for a Dimension 4700
I bought this to upgrade the storage in a Dimension 4700 that I'm using as a PC to run old games. Being that it had Windows XP, I didn't need any of those fancy terabyte drives, 500GB is just enough for this near 20 year old OS and my games. It gets a bit hot in the cramped space of the old Dell but I haven't had any issues with it since buying it. Solid reliable Western Digital drives never fail to deliver expectations.

Works great to split VCR coax output between a TV and another VCR.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Purchased this product to split a coax signal from a VCR output between an old tube TV with RF only and another VCR. It functions flawlessly and does just what I need it to do. Although there appears to be a lot of noise on the picture of the TV, I can only attribute it to the low quality of the RF signal. Other than that, I am now able to make tape copies and watch them on the TV!

Does not work with newer SDHC or SDXC cards.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This media card reader does what it's supposed to do well on any laptop with a PCMCIA card slot built in. Although the data transfer rate is quite slow because the card acts as an IDE controller which runs on the PCI bus. The data rate is also much slower due to speeds of older flash memory cards. This adapter can not read newer SDHC or SDXC cards with higher capacity at all either, as it only supports the original SD standard. As such, any SD cards that work with this adapter will be limited to a capacity no greater than 2GB. The SD card must also go into the adapter before it goes into the PCMCIA slot for it to read too, it does not support hot swapping media cards. Other than these oddities, this adapter works perfectly to read and transfer files to and from older SD cards, memory sticks, MMC, and a few more.
