Better choice than my Kitchenaid 13 cup
Although the large size was sometimes nice on my KA 13cup food processor, I did not think that the chopping blade did a good job . I also did not like the many parts that needed to be cleaned even when using just the small bowl and it was pretty hard to get everything clean. This Braun machine is quieter, lighter and (easier to get out of my cabinet), has a smaller footprint and does a much better job chopping. What I really love about this machine is the control I have over the speed which is really important when chopping or slicing delicate items. I do wish there was a thinner slicing blade than currently available, so the KA had the advantage being adjustable. For the price, this is a great machine and the additional/replacement blades are so much cheaper than other brands.

Great epilator
this is replacing my Braun epilator that is at least 15 years old and still working but could have used a new tweezer head but is now obsolete. The new tweezer system is so much gentler and plucks much shorter hair, leaving nice smooth legs! I prefer this one even over the Braun facial epilator although it is not ideal for eyebrows due to its size. I got a great deal on a "used" one so it was a great value for me.

Great Pool Shoes
I like the light material and comfort of the shoe. However, the size is a small fit. I usually wear an 8 1/2 or 9 but the 9-10 is still a very close fit. Cannot comment if this is going to hold up, as I have not had the shoes for very long yet.
