Warped base makes pan spin
While this is a good quality -made item, it is less useful than I had hoped because the base/bottom surface is warped and pan therefore spins on the burner while I am cooking. It has to be used carefully.

Royal Worcester: Exquisite Porcelain and Affordable
Royal Worcester has made (mainly in the 20th century) many very high-quality porcelain figurines that are hand formed, hand finished, and hand painted by artisans in England. The "Kingfisher" bird figurine is one that is rare to find in good (or mint) condition because usually the beak has been broken and/or repaired. The lucky find is when this is found in mint condition. Beautiful example of 20th century porcelain making in the style of earlier works. About 6 inches tall, it is a generous proportion and stands out in the collector's breakfront or on a mantle or desk.

A must-see film with great cameo performance by Faye Dunaway.
Still a great movie a decade after it was made. Apart from the interesting if at times unrealistic college-angst plot, there are gifted and very funny cameo performances by the legendary Faye Dunaway and the lesser-known (but equally talented!) Swoozie Kurtz. A must-see film that will make you laugh and at times cry.
