I like that they have very little finger drag noise like a flat wound but remain clear & not muddy like flat wounds on music styles other than jazz.

I ordered two gages of these, 1.0 & 1.14. I really like these picks for acoustic instruments for the tone quality & for the grip factor of the tortex material. I prefer the 1.14 for guitar & the 1.0 for mandolin.
