It’s ok. It’s not an adaptation of the movie.
This book is definitely not an adaptation of the movie. This book needs to be reviewed as a separate entity.
I am not sure that I’d have read this boom without expectations from the movie. Very little discussion of magic or the “curse” of the Owens.
