Using with a video camera
I bought this Tascam audio recorder to use with a video camera and it has been excellent. Very easy to synchronise in post production the camera track with the Tascam audio track using the camera's built in mic, (do a handclap at the start) but the Tascam gives vastly improved sound quality. The Tascam can be placed in the ideal position for minimising unwanted noise, not where the camera has to be! I have also bought a furry windshield from eBay to fit, for outside use.
It has various record settings, I use it on 48MHz to match my video and WAV for higher quality.

The first book written by a 20 year old author. Regardless of how well intentioned, I could not connect with it. Just his theories on dealing with life issues.
