Does the Job
Bought this board to replace a old burnt out Supply Board.
The kit had incorrectly supplied me with a 47 Ohm resistor instead of a 4.7k Ohm resistor .... stocking error and easily fixed.
I connected it to a 15 volt secondary from my old supply and upped the filtration capacitor to 4000uf 70 Volt. I also changed the Pots to larger full turns to give more precise control on voltage and current limiting.
The supply in this configuration will provide 18.7 Volts at around 2.25 amps.
The supply really does need a good heat sink for cooling the power transistor.
The Kit was an easy build, however take time to correctly identify the Zener diodes as they are very similar.
Everything has worked as expected.
Great buy for the price.

Great Kit
Well constructed, hard wearing and functional
